Scalded (cooked) sausage

Cervelas
Cooked sausage has always had a special place in Switzerland’s culinary history, none more so than “cervelas”. Made from a mixture of beef and pork, cervelas are incredibly versatile. They are delicious straight from the barbecue, or in a traditional Swiss sausage salad mixed with cubes of Emmental cheese and gherkins, or simply eaten “raw” with a chunk of fresh bread and a good helping of mustard. Of course, only choose DeliSwiss cervelas – they are simply the best!

St. Galler Kalbsbratwurst
From the sausage capital of Switzerland comes another traditional and very popular speciality: the DeliSwiss St. Gallen Bratwurst. Made from veal and pork, this frying sausage is best served either with a chunk of crusty bread or with a helping of “rösti” and a splash of onion gravy.
